  1. This is a pretty solid paraphrase. The one phrase I might recommend changing is “can only be made” in the sentence “This belief can only be made by the coherence of the story one has made in their head.” The first usage of the word “made” here is pretty vague. DO you mean something like “can only be persuasive”?

    Your example is pretty good. It seems like the coach made a WYSIATI error. What are the implications of this fallacy for the validity of using short try-out periods to determine membership of teams?
